Ethnicity in paintball??

Woah, this whole thread is pretty sketchy! :| Only yesterday evening, standing in the shower, I thought to myself, "I know what I'll do, I'll make a discussion post about ethnicity in paintball" then, after a few moments I added to myself "and I'll take the mick out of Dusty for being Irish as well"...

Soon after, Dusty himself starts the very post I was going to make, co incidence? I think not...

I can see there will be a lot of interest from the Ex-Taliban.

On a serious note, i am noticing more and more asian players attending venues and tourneys .
Maybe it would be a good idea to put a Tourney poster up in every takeaway and restaurant in the UK to promote the sport.
Theres a lot of people i know that has been on punters days , that had no clue of what the tournament side of paintball was.

I’m British born and bred but my origins stem from Pakistan. Played my first punter day whilst at Uni back 1987 and was absolutely taken by the sport, bought my first marker in 92. In all those years I’ve never encountered any racism.
Why aren’t more Asians playing paintball? Buggered if I know.

The Asian guys and the rest of the Black population are scared to pick up a paintgun because some dumbass cop will probably shot him multiple times for being a terrorist or a gangstar.
Those of us that do partake in this pastime fear the day we get pulled for a minor traffic mistermeanor and the ARU is called.

Dark Warrior’s comment as funny as it is, is on the back of my mind every time every time I load up the car with all my paintball gear.

You are just not looking are you, there are bl**dy loads of coloured players playing paintball, just not many brown ones.
