Started in early 90's, 36 now with 2 kids. Joined West Coast down in Somerset. Drove to Manchester Paintball and bought a Strling, upgraded to an Icon z1 then bought Niall Squires mag. Played Most of the home counties, (Wicked Nialls torney site, Doug Setters site and many others) Had Niall Squires as captain, Sponsored by people like Steve Bull (ukspf) Played all Mayhems. Marshalled at Wicked, Campaign Cup and NPPS (national professional paintball series) Had people like Niall Squires, Steve Duffy (from PGI) Billy and Tony, Dave Attyeo, Dave Elliot, Eggy, Stan Higgett and loads of others in the team. Met people like Robbo, Wall from Paintball adventure, Tony Massy, Owen and Bart from WDP, etc. Worked Campaign SW with Niall for years. Met Ledz, Jules, Flash and Jack from Planet and never looked back. Played Wurzel Bashes with the Banzai boys, trained against the Preds at Greenham Common with Marcus, used to hang out with the Turks (Darren and the boys) and had the time of my life.
I am sure people know Billy and Tony will remember the stories. Gave up for about 8 years when West Coast split and got back into it 3-4 years ago.
Nige
ps if anyone knows Duffy now tell him I said hi (i know he works for PGI still) Man there are some names from the past up there. Reckon we need a woodland tournie with all the old boys playing!!!

Never thought paintball would take me around the world, still coach and play in the woods we have a blast.Worst welt Doug Settters Splat master at 6foot around a corner at Darenth. ******* realy hurt !

Hmmmmm Doug Setters and that infamous Splatmaster of his, it had more of a kick than Roberto Carlos and I swear it used to use one whole CO2 canister per shot.
And that guy used to look so affronted when anybody even slightly questioned the legality of that marker.
He was one of the worst old school cheats I ever came across but I gotta say, I quite liked him because he always denied it with a smile on his face. I first met Doug in Eastbourne when my mate unhinged my hands from around his neck one time when I caught him wiping against my team and it cost us the title, I wasn't amused but eventually we became good friends :)
