EPA Rounds Five and Six Rearranged to 28th/29th October

We have now contacted, or attempted to contact, all EPA league managers to discuss plans for the two rounds left this season.

It has been decided that rounds five and six will be played as a two-day weekend on the 28th/29th October 2006. Round five will be played on the Saturday and round six on the Sunday.

As has been explained to managers, it is necessary to run a two-day event for many reasons and we hope that by rearranging to October, everyone will have plenty of time to sort out finances and players.

The PBUK Presentation Evening will be on Saturday 2nd December at a venue to be announced (in the Midlands).

EPA change of date

I have not been contacted.

EPA website is down and has been for several days.

Any other managers who were not contacted?

I for one do not think this change is acceptable and i feel we the managers should have been given the opportunity to put it to our teams and vote on it.

We did not enter a team into Campaign this year as it was too close to PA 6th leg for many of our team to afford both and now it turns out we could have.

A two day event is not in line with the PA league structure and this is another example of poor communication by the PA to its member teams and the owners of slots in the PA.

It isnt that I dont like it, its just I would prefer masters to be semi!
