Neck protection

Its not just a neckerchief it has a built in neoprene is this ok to use in tourneys?

You can use it for tournies, yes.

Be a real man and take it in the neck at 430fps (Yes, 430fps!) from some crazy punterhunter that had put a homebrew spring in his 98... Not so fun (lying on ground choking while all friends stand around and laugh)..



But yes, they can be used in Torunies.

The reason i asked was i used it at the masters on sunday it was fine for 4 fields but not one field. Who is right? The judge who would not let me wear it or the other 4? I have no gripes i just did not wear it for that field. Legally within the rules of the masters or the PA can i use it?

well i saw alot of neck protectors at the masters, the marshall taking it off you for that field must of had a good reason. But if 4 of the other field's aloud it then i shouldnt think there'd be a problem with it. As far as i know theres no rule against the wearing of them

Funny that, I got told that I could wear my necker for the first couple of masters then the last one I was asked to remove it.

They always told me to tuck it in but last time was an outright refusal....

Depends what rules are followed - according to millennium rules you cannot use this sort of neck protection anymore, only "pure" neoprene!

Some tournaments dont allowed those sorts because they've got a bit hanging down your front...and some how it's easier to hide a shot wearing one of these as the shot can be folded up into the cloth.
Dont see it happening myself, but i think thats why

I used a JT one on all 5 fields at the Masters, not a problem (It is a neoprene only one thou).

I always wear one, everytime I don't, I cop one in the Adam's apple!
