For a long time we've had a policy of banning anyone who attacks other forums. We've worked with admins from other forums to get IP's and usernames, and then permanently banned people from PBN.

Yes Small Talk can be unruly sometimes. Most of them aren't even paintballers, it's just a place for them to hang out. As long as they stay in ST I have little to do with them, except for occassionally weilding the ban stick.

No, we're British, therfore lumped in with the football fans and our IP range (UK) has been banned by your obviously 'compentent' moderators. Basically it's the lesser of two evils, they tar all paintballers with the same brush, your forums tars all Brits with the same brush.

Believe it or not, if you have the sense to search it out, there is a lot of value on PBN, and a lot of the top players and industry people are regularly on there.

Is it any wonder that people here, who are mainly U.K. residents, lump all PbN users in with the spammers/agg-kids when we get our whole country's IP range banned from the forums? I've been visiting quite often and just as I was beginning to change my opinion about the users, BAM I get banned because of a few football fans. I realise that there are plenty top industry people frequenting 'Nation and that was one of the reasons that I have been logging on more regularly than in the past, however it seems that for every decent, sane and helpful person on the boards there is 5/6 pre-pubescent t*ssers whose posts comprise of "pics or shens", "that's hawt/that sucks" etc etc. I agree if you're willing to wade throiugh the copious amounts of crap posted there's a lot of useful information. So it seems that the general stereotype in this case is of the majority, and not of the minority.

By 'British' I mainly meant a U.K. resident with a U.K. IP, those who suffered the brunt of the punishment doles out by the mods.

I'll make this simple.

The whole of the UK's IP range was NOT banned. Just a couple of select areas for a short period of time. There was still plenty of UK users that were able to view the forums.

There are hundreds (if not thousands), of UK users on PBN, so far it seems like about 10-20 were actually stopped from viewing the forums for a day or so.
