"Mags are great if you have someone who knows them well enough"

Thats the great thing about mags, they dont need spares or someone to fix them, they just keep going and going and going and going and going and going and going and going (you get the idea)
I'm a complete numpty and can still keep my mag going. I had it sitting in it's case in the back of my garage for about 5 years, screwed in a co2 bottle and it cocked and fired without a problem, it was still shooting about 270fps over the chrony as well

Tippys

Tippmans are the best full stop!have been working at pb sites for 17 years and have found Infernos infernal,Ikons less than iconic, mags have been good(easy(ish) to fix) but tippmans are the ak47 of the paintball world, theyre nearly indestructable, ultra reliable(normally only jam when some tight fisted customer wont buy paint and picks up swollen old paint scattered all over the site!) can be used to knock nails in,play cricket with(but not at our site i hasten to add!) and have been left in a lake(albeit a small one!) for weeks, recovered, gassed up and away it went again with nothing more than a drop of oil!!Oh,and did i 4get 2 mention, its prob the worlds best selling site gun?Nuff said.. ;) Brian"its all about tha bullitts innit?"French:D

Iv played at PBMania and all iv used there are infernos there great, i love them there not to heavy they fire well for beginners very durable getting bashed around allover the place but still work brilliantly. There accurate aswel. Out of all the times iv used the infernos at PBMania which is the only place i have used infernos they havent jammed for me. The only thing that sort of jammed was the paintballs had the oily liquid on them and they stuck together in the hopper but a quick tap on the hopper had them firing straight away again m8.

Amazing marker i think for sites. I dont know about the maintenance or parts but iv heard alot ofpeople say that there easy to get parts and that for on the odd occasion there do need some spairs.

Your decision but Infernos are great markers for sites.

tippman

We sold 85 infernos and purchased 140 Tippmanns, they just keep going and going. I liked the inferno, but the tippmann has the wow factor.

if you break a ball in an inferno, you have to take the bolt out to clean it and put it in properly, you also have to oil the bolt. The trigger has a sharp edge.

The tippmanns, if they
break paint, they keep firing,
no oil, they keep firing.

each to their own, but if you go buy a tippmann, you cant go wrong

the new PMI field markers are not that durable. i love the old infernos for easy of, well, .... everything really.

i always thought an inferno with a wire detent, like on the evo-x or mag barrels, would be a great site gun. why do the manufacturers insist on rubber nubbins that snap off?
