Well, I've tidied up my E-Vents enough to relase some full pics. I have the Rising Sun strap, but I haven't painted the white ears yet, so it's still only 90% complete
As you can see, I continued the Sun beams up through the interior of the frame, so when I put in a clear lens you can still see the beam. I haven't got a clear lens handy for pics so I just took out the smoke one.

They were a huge pain in the arse actually, haha.
It took about 2+ hours to mask it all, and the masking tape didn't want to stick half the time
Then another couple of hours to get a few good coats sprayed on.
Then another hour of so to trim and peel the tape off.
Unfortunately there was a bit of leakage beacause the masking tape didn't stick real well, but I trimmed it again using a Swann Morton surgical blade - DAMNNNN those things are sharp!!! But it cleaned up the edges great!!
It's been a fun project, but taken quite a while...and it's still not done.

Nope, the main E-Vent body I'm holding in the pics is a single moulded unit. I do have white ears though, which will be painted and extend the beam around the side of your head.
those vents look ace, have you got a fire lense and rising sun strap to go with it? That would look teh pimpzord
