And here I was counting my pennies and searching down the back of the sofa!!!It's definitely NOT for sale! Was originally posted in bargain of the week as that was the bargain.
Where will you do the cuts?
Pliers and some elbow greasehe needs to remove the rivets...

Not sure on the cutting. Haven't done one before so will have to do a bit of research. I was thrown a bit by the lid being described as "may also be detached if necessary" on one of the retail sites. Didn't mention it's only detachable via cutting metal
Maybe I'll pop round to @James ECI for a cup of tea with it and see if the JT fairies sprinkle some magic dust on it
Have you fashioned a Virtue pro pad / HK version onto the JT strap? Any good? I guess anything will fit if you can just thread the strap through it.Pliers and some elbow grease

Yeah it's the virtue one... Most of the time I two strap stuff but I also like the way the pro pads feel... since I took it off a vio, I figured it may as well get some use
