Yep use procells they for the most part are fine.

I do keep pb energy batteries in the bag too but i think its more of a brand thing

Thanks for the guidance “dude with all the gear” - see I listened to the podcast! I’m very much a best value kind of dude, for the most part, so two batteries for 9 coin seems a bit excessive.
