Who do people recommend to use when shipping bottles? I remember a while back people reporting issues with Royal Mail about bottles being destroyed - is that still the case? If so, who have been people been using when shipping bottles instead? If it makes a difference, I can remove the regulator from mine so it's not a sealed unit.

Thanks in advance!

Someone may be able to give an update on any carriers that have been used fairly recently.

The key issue is that transportation regulations changed for ‘pressure vessels’, and this severely restricts what postal methods can be used - if it may possibly endup on a plane then its prohibited.

Double check both the prohibited and restricted items lists for any carrier and very importantly for the specific methods.

As a minimum you will need to remove the regulator, noting that if a cylinder is prohibited then that still counts even when empty.
(Blame everyone in the past who ignored the rules and made false or vague declarations when sending)

Ive sent them by RM special delivery - remove regulator so they know there is no pressure inside
