Hi all,

I'm new to the forum (despite having made this account ages ago), so apologies if I am breaching rules by starting a thread in this subforum.

I played tournament 5 man speedball/ airball for a good 6 years before taking a break for 10 years due to uni, work, yada yada yada. However I am quite keen to get back into the game.

Is anyone aware of speedball fields near Cambridge which host walkon events? Am I best off driving down to Brickettwood?

Also what is the best way to pick up a used marker in the UK? I note that eBay.co.uk doesn't host marker sales and I don't seem to have enough posts to buy from the P8baller thread!

Cheers,
Sergio

A worthwhile trip is to Penkridge in the midlands for the CPPS

For sales you gain privileges by making 20 posts over approx 2 weeks, the instant alternate method is to upgrade to Platinum membership

Thanks for this Tom, isn't there anything closer than the Midlands? Might be a bit of a trek for a day's play (4 hour round trip )

Welcome back! Its always a good time to start playing again. (except for the fact that everywhere is shut atm..) Keep an eye on Mayhem too, as they look like they will be doing some good things re: non-woodsball :)

Hey guys,

I have been trying to find a speedball field somewhere closer to London than CPPS.

I spoke to someone from the Bricketwood field who said that the speedball field would be discontinued following Covid. Is this common news? I thought this was main speedball centre in the south. Am I missing something?

I was surprised to hear this given the number of London teams I saw registered in the CPPS divisions!

Where do all of the London teams train? I can't imagine they all travel up to the midlands every weekend?!

Just as a caveat to the above, speedball = supair (in my mind at least!)

Cheers,
S
