its Facebook takes me away from this forum
This is not a shop, the classifieds area is a trading area for members of the forum

Facebook segregated single interest groups out of forums, it made them sub-sections of the paintball community, but took a hit on the wider community

People are welcome back, and it’s entirely possible to use both forums and Facebook. I can even use the wider internet as well and have a social life.
The miracle of the internet in my pocket let’s me chat online, keep in touch with people I see regularly, occasionally and rarely.
There’s just one person that I’ve struggled to keep in touch with as she doesn’t use social media so we have to make time for the effort to call each other once in a while - or even write stuff. (I know more about what’s happening with friends across the world then her who’s just a few hours away)

You can use the forum and then get to trade, or you can choose not to

The facebook pretty much brings people back to the forums with the spying on posts. But yeah, I'm one of those without a proper post count to post on sales aswell.

My name is Siim. I actually started playing because of my mates, who literally dragged me to field after agreeing to come whilst being drunk. I did not even like the idea of letting others hurt me for no reason whatsoever. I got hooked ever since. Did 6-7 events the first year, 3-4 were planned open-games or walk-ins you may call them. The rest i booked myself. And from there on I got the spirit to keep on playing. A year/two later I started arranging games/ doing rental matches/ playing sports. We've done some cups in Russia/Latvia, getting our team spirit up and getting into the team game. Well up until we lost our reball field and Corona came. Now we just try to "hang in there". A buddy of mine did a video of our last walk-on event of the year, I might upload it here soon. It did not get any good barrel can action since most of the rounds had a splash on the lense I did not see. Long story short, once you get hooked there is no way out.

me too, 1996 I went with a work party, and was absolutely hooked! Played again 2 years later. And it `was easily once or twice a month for another 14years.

You ever played a tournament?

We do play Latvian/Russian leagues since we don't have enough teams in Estonia. (First ever tournament in Russia ended like this).

I did enjoy my etha II for two years, but from that I upgraded to 170r and couldn't be happier. Just need a freak kit and I'm set for a while! What about you, what do you rock?
