cylinder label confusion: test dates, death date etc

Hi guys, getting a bit confused by my bottle label.

I always understood that Pi fibrewraps were 15 year life span with 5 year test intervals. However looking at my cylinder it looks like it's only got a 9 year life span? - which makes me wonder if it's on a different (3 year?) test interval? Obviously I need to know because if it were on a 3 year cycle then a retest is due.

Can anyone enlighten me at all?

I believe that 2017 date is to do with the ISO spec date so just work back from that death date

Strange.
The new ISO spec would imply (almost) unlimited life.
I would expect a 5 year test cycle, but with a final date showing sites could / should not permit you to fill after Feb 2022.

Nope, the UNISO specs were introduced in 2012, that 2017/02 is the year and month it was made.

I suspect it's a cockup on the labeling by the manufacturer .

I don't know if you got an official answer from any one to your question but I just found this picture of an older gayston bottle, it's the same standard but you'll notice the dates are 15 years apart as they should be, I still think they made a cock up on your bottle.
