Met Gommie in my first year playing - he frequented Holmbush and Campaign as well as big games way back when..
Working for Smart Parts / DLX / GOG at one point, im pretty sure he had a hand in their mech offerings as well as the improvements put out on he Luxe platform.
There have been more people in touch, and the Gommie appreciation society has expanded to include his family and friends.
The family have been overwhelmed with the response and messages from the paintball community, and other groups that Dave hung around.
Confirmation of the funeral arrangements and a gathering to remember and celebrate Gommie will be posted up there once plans have progressed.
I’ll post here as well, but you’ll get information first on the group.
Please note that a number of offers to donate and help with funeral and memorial/wake expenses have been made and a fundraiser has been started (by a confirmed close friend & with the family. Details are on the page if anyone wishes to help.
Gommies wake will also take place on 28th February, at Urban Sizzler.
If you plan to attend please respond to the 'event' listed on the Gommie Facebook page, this will allow organisers and caterers to plan accordingly - and to give a guide on numbers as the venue is limited to 120 persons.

There are now plenty of photos from family and friends of good times, plus those from his funeral and wake.
Today we have some new pictures from Gary Henderson for the Luxe days, and recently we had enquires and photos of a racing bike with a Gommie fitted HPA air system!!!!
Major thanks from everyone to all those who contributed to the fund which paid for his funeral & wake.
