Hi guys, I am new to the forum and sport. I have done the north vs south a couple of times with hired gear and is a great event.

Anyway, I picked up this marker ata a local boot fair for £4. Can anyone identify what marker it is, is the quality any good.also I need a barrel for it, as an autococker threaded barrel does not fit and have no local shops to test fit for thread size.

Thanks

It’s a generic Spyder clone ..... so the thread you will want is Spyder

It looks very similar but the make/model escapes me and I can’t find any pictures of my mates one to compare.

As for quality I think its a reasonable clone, but being Spyder there is pretty much nothing to go wrong other than o-rings degrading, but it will take the standard large bottle o-rings.
Though they won’t be super high tech rubber you could even probably replace them with the domestic DIY o-ring selection boxes from hardware & plumbing shops.

Put aside the co2 bottle and put on a basic HPA aluminium bottle
Also put aside the hopper and replace with any electric hopper or a ‘shelf’ gravity hopper such as the proto primo
(Though there is some sense of old school cool in the hopper that’s on it)

The way the grip frame is implies that you are missing a bolt at the front, so pop to the hardware store (you will want an imperial size rather than metric for best fit)

Spyder clones will still be working after the apocalypse

To be fair, the layout of a Spyder has similarities to Autocockers to the uneducated eye

I recently showed pics of another clone on sale locally to teammates, one asked if it was an autococker
