Hydro test

Here in spain there are lots of paintball "rental" fields, but only 2 shops.
None of them do or know where to hydrotest.
Anyway these small tanks are not that expensive, so maybe im buying one soon and will keep this old one as a backup

In the UK paintball shops do not hydrotest bottles either they ship them off to companies who specialise in it.

The one I use in Liverpool test every type of Cylinder from scuba tanks to hospital oxygen ones. I would do a google search for anywhere which tests scuba tanks and they will probably be able to do it.

But as you have found your bottle does not require a hydro test so unless you can see damage on it or if you do not know its history then you should be fine.

If it’s a 13ci or smaller aluminium cylinder - then yes, it’s exempt from hudrotesting and is fine whilst it is visually good

If it is any bigger then it would need to be hydrotested at some point.
Default markings are likely to say it’s due 5 years after manufacture or last test
It is acceptable to use an aluminium for 10 years before hydrotesting but not every site will accept that
(Again no matter what the date and the age it is always subject to a common sense visual look over)

Yea rule of thumb is 5 years for a hydro on anything over a 13ci most people i know seem to do that even with no CF tanks
