Hi all,
How do you make your air tank safe for travel? Should it ever be empty or is it best to always have air in it?
& Does anyone know any couriers that will take them?
Any help is appreciated
(Sorry if this is in the wrong thread!)
Strictly speaking it's often been recommended to empty for travel
There is good practice in leaving some air pressure to keep the seals etc
For small bottles used in paintball there isn't a legal requirement to display a compressed cylinder diamond on your car, but the point of view of firemen I have spoken to is that if you're in an accident and they come to your car and spot an unknown cylinder without the safety signs on the vehicle then they will step back to think
If you have a company/business car/van and aren't covered already for compressed cylinders then there are legalities if you carry without declaring
In practice, keep it safe so it isn't rolling around and everything will be fine
