Geo showing low battery

Hello guys..

I have a friend who is selling his original geo but it has a problem with it...the battery on the screen shows that it is alsays low even when you put a new one in..
Does anyone know much about this or if this would be an easy fix.

Which kind of 9v is he using?

Also, which model of Geo is it - if it's an older one, it may just be the screen dying.

Its a rockstar limited edition one...so the older one and he is using duracell

The guide should assist him, but as it says you have to use a specific kind of Duracell.

Is there any paint damage to your board?
Is it showing as low, or is it actually showing as "broken"

The rockstar geo is a geo 1 yeah?

I will be getting this off him over the next few days...i will look for paint damage and will try the recommended batteries for it...

It is indeed a Geo 1
