Just wondering about this. I've heard things like it's stopped being made but a load of outlets still have them?

Also for a ~£100 marker that's just a bit of fun, I'm surprised not more people own one?

Is it just a thing for modders?

Kind of fancy one just for shiz and giggles!

It is discontinued. Retailers will still have stock, but some may also list it but then turn out not to have it in the end.

(There is a low margin in paintball and the retailer may show a stock level based on drawing upon their distributor unless there's a good enough turnover on the item, but as its discontinued I would assume that reputable uk paintball retailers that still list it do actually have it)

The hammer 7 is a bargain, and isn't purely for moderation. Take it out of the box and it's full of fun

Though the hammer is discontinued and eventually stock will dwindle, spyder have continued to use the magazine in other models so that is safe to live on for a while

Pump actions aren't for everyone
Spyder can be a bit of a dirty word to some people, and can bring to mind bulk made basic generic spyder clones
The hammer has an old school velocity adjustment system that involves poking a long tool down the barrel to adjust it

Go for it

I think the cost of the mags harmed sales to some extent, plus pump is harder to play, magfed is harder to play, combine the two and its going to be even harder, of course you can use the vert feed on them but then its just a lowish end pump.

You can take people out in one shot with the hammer

Though that shows some of the caution in the lead up due to being outgunned, it doesn't show the 99% of the time where I have come out worse off when using a pump or a pistol
