Geo 2 puffing

Having problems with my geo 2 when I go to shoot is just puffing then it will shoot fine for a couple then start puffing again I've stripped it down right down cleaned and relubed everything all looks fine and it's still then same
all the settings are std and the same as my other geo2 which is fine
any help much appreciated

Hey @Mike bullen,

what do you exactly mean by puffing, i'm going to assume you get a full shots at the correct velocity then it acts as if the reg/solenoid isnt getting enough air to fire and is essentially just popping the balls out the end at a very low speed?

Can you hear any leaks coming from the gun I would suggest trying another air tank but noticed that you said it works fine with your other geo2 which pretty much rules that out.

It's a duracell ultra I've swapped it from my other geo2 and it's still the same

I know this sounds stupid seeing as you;ve just gave it a run over and relubed etc, but check all your o rings on the bolt that you've taken out, its a bit strange how its still the same with the parts from the other geo though, have you tried the other parts on the working geo that you've taken off the one that is having issues?

I've tried all bits in both markers I'm now putting it down to the solenoid last thing I swapped it's now working but I'm now out of air lol

ah so cant really test it anymore, hopefully it was just bc you were getting low on air, but if you've changed everything it definitely could be the noid, but if you haven;t swapped it, its strange how its working now, if you figure out what it was let me know as I'm quite intrigued now

Just stripped down both solenoids and found the ball spring is broken out of the geo that was playing up

That probably explains it then, hopefully you can get it sorted and have 2 working geo 2s next time you play instead of 1
