The warped paintball guys usually have a good selection of 2nd hand markers on their stall.

Please bear in mind that I am new to this, and so this might be a stupid question; but roughly how much would it cost to buy: 1 gun, 1 hopper, 1 tank, 1 mask - all 2nd hand? *and not poor quality stuff.*

This can go from around £125+ really.

It all depends on what level of equipment you want to buy and how much you want to invest!

Alright, I've just bought a mask for £110 (new), an Etek 4 for £125 (2nd hand), and now I'm looking for a 2nd or 3rd gen rotor and a 68/4500 tank as well as a battle vest and some pods.

My budget is £400 in total, so I'm just wondering if the items I still need to get will push me over £165?

At any big event you'll find heavily discounted vests . So rather than pay full 80 quid on one, you can get em knock down at 15! Saw this at NvS

You can find all that you are looking for in the classifieds for sale from reputable people who won't d*ck you about. In fact all of what you are looking for will be there as I type this but to give you a guide,

Generation 3 DYE rotor £60ish

68CI tank and reg (still in date) £100ish

Pack and pods £50-60 (varies on what they are) although as stated above trying to get a deal on a new pack would be best.

All of this is Decent kit that will perform very well all only a few years old and just about within budget, Job done.
