I have been reading your articles since the early 90s as the various magazines from the US and UK were pretty much all we had in Australia and I always wondered about the behind the scenes stuff going on and if could ever be as bad as the crap going on in Australia... ours had a different flavour as paintball was illegal for many years and as such the politics were a different kind of nasty.
Anyway, after having read (and loved) everything you have written here, it seems they really were not so different. This was a fantastic intro into UK paintball for me as I am looking to get back into the sport here in the UK after a 9 year break.
You have also clarified some things about a friend of mine mentioned here as well (Paintball Pete) as I knew he had a run in with someone in the industry but none of the details... I won't make the same mistake.
I will be directing anyone who asks me about UK paintball here.
