I've always believed that actions tend to speak louder than any words, and so if we really want to understand someone then we need to look at what they do and not so much what they say.
This in mind, it's reasonable to assume that barnett's personality makes him predictable because it's hard for him to venture much beyond his behaviour profile.
He's defrauded Gino and the rest of the guys for an awful lot of money as we all know, and I think his income streams have now been profoundly staunched such that he now needs money up front to be able to put any of his events on [if indeed he intends to actually put an event on] ....... but there could be more going on than we imagine.
These Black Friday deals he's been offering are an attempt to claw in as much cash as he can - that much is obvious.
The question really is, what's going through his mind when offering these deals?
Prima facie, it looks like an authentic offer ..... but knowing how barnett's mind ticks over ... there could be more to it than a simple pre-Xmas deal ...
Just take a sideways glance at what's he's been up to these last months ... it hardly inspires confidence with respect to his integrity, far from it.
barnett's number one concern in his life is himself, it's text-book typical for his condition.
Megalomaniacal tendencies steeped in narcissism.
These terms ain't thrown in to impress, nor are they done arbitrarily, they are, in my not so humble opinion, accurate.
My whole point is, he's doing exactly what someone would do if they were lining up their ducks to fuhk right off out of it.
The timing of his desertion will correspond closely to a point where he believes he has sucked in as much cash as he is able - coupled with mounting up as much debt as is possible before he does his runner.
Maybe, if things go really well for him, he might be able to stumble over to his next event but trust me on this, whether it's this one, or the next, or the one after, he will be doing a runner with people's money .. and if you don't believe me, take an impartial look at what he's been up to this last year as has been testified in this thread.
The people who've posted with their own experiences with barnett can't all be lying.
And even if you were a devout sceptic, you'd still have to agree, barnett hasn't behaved professionally, ethically, reasonably or honestly .... you have to ask yourself this, do I really want to risk my hard-earned Xmas cash ending up being a departure gift for one of our sport's most notorious miscreants?
