Sorry bud - didn't mean you call them in the sense of 'snooping' - more a case to see if any lessons could be learnt, or if they have changed their license based on what happened - but if you're all sorted, then all is good

My exposure to the Rangers was seeing them at a number of scenario games over the years. The main one that comes to mind was Copehill Down a few years back and they behaved like a complete bunch of knobs to pretty much everyone on the field. A close up urban game and the majority of their players were consistently not taking their hits, overshooting players and generally being a bunch of anti-social a-holes. Back then I didn't know who they were or their connection to any event organiser, I just saw what I saw and that was a bunch of entitled asshats stomping around as if they owned the place. The mature behaviour of their players on here seems to be consistent with the attitudes that were demonstrated during that weekend.

EDIT: As an additional note, it's my opinion that when a large organised team attends a scenario event they should be held to a higher standard than small groups of randoms. Large teams of players are already at an advantage by numbers and they should act with respect to other players and the game organiser. This isn't just a matter of not cheating, it's about representing your sponsors positively and helping out other players on the field, rather than treating it like an XBall game and lighting people up and taking any opportunity to play on.

I've played for these guys at a tournie before, I didn't have a team and was really keen to play, the team players themselves even Tim and his wife were very accommodating I played every point and was never sat out once, at that event I must say I really enjoyed the weekend. Before you all sting me with the supporters thing, I play paintball and only paintball, I stay out of the whole politics and grudges it's just not me. All I want to do is turn up, pay money and shoot people and have a laugh together and that's what I do. I have since played against them and we smashed them all over the place. We all shook hands. That's my experience. Reading all these pages has proven to me that there's sometimes 2 sides to a person. The facts don't lie

I remember watching UWL last year and seeing how corrupt Shoreline Rangers and Shoreline Marshalls can be especially when shots were both being wiped and not called even in full view of the Marshalls (they saw plenty of hit). Even commented to one of them saying the SLR had been hit square in the mask in front of him.....he didn't even say anything!

Yes i have no evidence and it is my word against another.

Hello all, never really posted here, joined a while back to look at the for sale ads. Since then i have joined the SLR. I kept an eye on this thread and decided it best not to get involved due to the fact i don't possess any "facts" contradicting what you're suggesting therefore felt it pointless to post. I don't believe what this thread is suggesting that is my choice and I'm entitled to that, regardless of how you view that.

However in the interest of fair play, truth and honesty. I would like to request "facts and proof" that the above post took place! I played UWL, i had several of the unbiased refs call me out. (Didn't have a very good season) Yeah they are my friends but it made no difference. The game only works when people don't take the mick with it. They even laughed (a lot) as they awarded the other team the points when i changed the flags the wrong colour.

The internet is a dark place, similar to here and to real life not everyone is going to like you. I don't mind if people who don't know me but dont like me because of a team i'm a part of but here's some facts about the posts from the last couple of days.

1. There are no internal disputes within the team. I can guarantee that!
2. I DO NOT CHEAT! FACT!!

Do you mean in the whole thread or just the alleged disputes in SLR?

As for cheating and poor player conduct, that is something that happens across the board unfortunately.

Think I'm safe in saying of course they have no evidence to back up that post, it's an anecdotal account. so is reliant on trust and ideally should not be taken as gospel truth.

Now to address your other points.

1) internal disputes - if there isn't then good for you guys that's what we want as a community, if there is then that's not so good but hell, **** happens.

2) you do not cheat - congratulations, good man. It's good that you have an ethical code and stand by that.

I once watched a ranger cheat. Your right, he really sucked at it lol
