I'd only just added the 'Jim, Jay' on my previous post.

I remember reading a message he sent me and I think you saw it too Jim.
He was questioning the suitability of me using the 'my house' thingy.
Well, he cannot question it anymore it seems.
But I've had a thought, the reason I banned him was because I knew his response would wind me up.
And I really didn't fancy my carotid artery going near to burst mode.
However, if he were to limit his answer to the questions I've asked then I'll let him back on but that doesn't mean I like him.
I still don't like him ....

I think he should email me with the answers, and if he manages to hold true and stay within that remit, I'll post it up myself.

I'm afraid Morphmann is not the sort to listen to what's been said and he'll ignore answering the questions posed in furtherance to whatever goal he pursues.
I could be wrong but I've seen a lot of people like Morphmann, he just couldnt stop himself from continuing on and on and on ..... eventually I got tired responding to him.
Still, I'll stand by my word and will let him back on if someone comes up with some credible reasons.

Pete, I don't believe Morphmann is a supporter of tb as such, I just think he has nothing better to do than try to cause a stir by posting online. Posting with genuine questions or presenting an alternative point of view is a good thing in my opinion. Dskize is a great example of that.

Morphmann I feel is just posting ill informed twaddle and attempting to make himself look like an informed party when really, I don't think he's understood half of what has been posted here. When this is pointed out he falls back on another ill informed argument. I suppose before I ban someone I always ask will the forum need or miss this character? Well, Morphmann by his own admission didn't log in for a year or so and I didn't see anyone asking where he was so that kinda tells me all I need to know.

Jim, I'm pretty sure he's not one of barnett's haemorrhoids but he came into this thread with a real bad attitude and he wouldn't address any of the question asked of him re what he'd posted about barnett. As you say, he ain't been around here for some time and so it's not as if he'd be missed that much.

I think he's one of those people who have an overbearing sense of entitlement but hasn't earned the stripes.
I could be wrong of course but I've only got his posts to go on ...

Its your site, your rules, so dont get me wrong, but it does begin to invite a fear that if you don't say the right thing or if you piss off the Big Cheese, you risk your membership, or being ostracised from a place welcomed by many to express themselves without said fear.

I'll answer this. Pete doesn't ban people simply because he doesn't like them or get along with them. That's misleading. There are plenty of people who are members here who may or may not like Pete and vice versa.

People who come here to troll, bait, generally make a deliberate nuisance of themselves, take the piss out of the rules or try to run a business at the expense of the members and without paying for advertising are the ones Pete doesn't like. A lot of people think it's fun to come along and try to elicit some kind of reaction from Pete.

If you have a valid, structured, intelligent and informed argument which goes contrary to the opinion of "the Big Cheese", he'll consider it and debate it with you. He won't ban you because your opinion is different to his. If someone becomes rude or disrespectful, belligerent or just starts to resort to silliness then it may be a different story.
