I am genuinely interested in any reaction from the Prison Staff who were supervising the game, or who arrived after the game to see the condition. Also as to whether any complaints were received re. high flying paint into gardens or houses. (If this is the paint that they are looking to use at the afghan place, then this will mean no one would be allowed back there afterwards... :/

When the time comes and barnett decides to go out with a bang - a lot of people are gonna be added to his list of 'collateral damage' and become his next victims.
There will be no point in gloating because all those guys who still support him and his events only ever wanted to play ball, there's nothing wrong in that because that's what we've all wanted to do at one time or another.
The fact they believed in someone who ultimately turned out to be nothing more than a cheap con-man shouldn't be the basis of any ridicule or self-chastisement,
In fact, it's cause for reflection as to how people like barnett can infiltrate our sport so easily and cheat so many ballers both industry and player alike.
I think he did start off with good intentions but when he realised he couldn't juggle his income with his debts, he decided to cheat his industry friends and supporters.

Now, as I see it, barnett's not stupid but what's undeniable, he does stupid things - after all, he'd already proved to himself that he couldn't successfully manage his company's income and outgoings because the only way he could stay in the game was to cheat someone.

Most people would pull the plug long before friends were cheated but barnett's personality is flawed - he's psychologically compromised because he gave no thought to the victims he cheated and he will give no thought to all you guys out there who still believe in him.
And I will now say what I told Simon Cole, Gino and Will Bourgault .... 'barnett will rip you off, it's only a matter of time' .....
All of those guys told me I was wrong - it turned out I wasn't wrong at all ....... and so to all you guys who still support barnett, I'll say this much, 'Please don't be his next victims because no matter who you are, no matter what he's told you, he wont be able to stop himself from cheating you' !!!

I agree to the point of him banking players cash and then vanishing.

But to do that you would need a lot of money to see you through the days and the video of him in the prison shows him stressed to the hilt and withered more than someone with a nest egg.

The ability to not account for some £80k + is one thing. Another more curious point is that after the Afghan game there is another planned early next year whereby the faction 'Generals' look to be about 14-15.

This raises alarms as that is the generation that is prepared to trade their axe plus mum & dads cash for a game.

Is it the younger generation those that fund him?

Panthro, he doesn't need a lot of dosh to say he's promoting an event .... it's just words on an internet page mate.
The whole idea will be to tell people the event is gonna be the biggest and best he's ever held at a cost that's irresistible.
And on that basis, he will be looking for top dollar pre-payment but I'm afraid there will be no actual event other than the one in his head.

The faction generals for that game have been younger players for quite a few years now, is there any reason why younger players shouldn't have a go at leading.

Bod, I think the point he's making isn't so much a direct attack on them as highlighting the fact more mature members have elected to bypass the opportunity to act as generals .... I may be wrong but hey, he'll soon put me right if I am wrong.

No, they've been giving younger players the chance to lead the sides for a few years now, i may be wrong but i think one of the younger renegade rebels was leader one year.

That is correct Bod, one of my lads lead a faction. Very good experience for a young player......

It was also at the point in time that scenario forums were frequented more with lots of good humoured banter.

I ran Eastmere this year for our game Battle Fields and colored paint in any shape or form is not allowed to be used at the site. One of the reasons is that the site is used for filming.

I was also informed that someone has tried to purchase a prototype ball that Powerball had designed for us (not sure how they found out about it) code name "Spunky". We took the ball to Longmoor training camp to ask if we where allowed to use it and they declined. Our ball is not a colored ball in your general sense and also does not degrade in 24 hours.

One thing that has come out of this whole situation is that each MOD site has it's own rules for paint use.
This is great for us as we are now looking to use our new paint at other venues in 2016.

No matter what happens at his game it will not effect our great relationship with the site owners. So don't worry all the players that have messaged me.
