Can I use my own pistol at Delta Force ?

I have recently bought a Bt sa 17 pistol and I was wondering whether I can use at Delta Force (in Upminster to be precise). The gun itself uses 12 gram co2 cartridges. I know Delta Force say that they don't allow you to bring your own marker on their website but I was reading a post on this forum from 2007 asking the same question and someone named Gups who claims to be a Marshall their answered:
"I have now had a chance to speak to our H & S manager. We are now looking into the popularity of paintball pistols and if there is a reasonable demand will will do a risk assessment and put procedures in place to allow their use.

With regards this particular gun, we agree that it poses no risk of a 'bottle rocket', as does valved cylinders, so we are prepared to allow it's use provided the following rules are adhered to:

1. You let me know what date and centre you have booked so i can inform the centre manager of your arrival. I will need to know this a week before your game via email toguppy@paintballgames.co.uk. A post on here will not be adequate. If you just turn up at the centre without informing me by email you will be told you cannot use it."

Since this was so long ago I was wondering if their were any marshalls from Delta force that I could contact ?
Cheers,
James.

Delta Force are pretty much the Tescos of paintball - big and corporate, the same experience accross sites, they have the investment capital to put into sites, and also like Tesco will buy up land and the opposition - even if it means buying land to not use it.

There is a regional phone number which should put you in touch with the specific site:

But personaly I would recommend picking from other sites in the area, and if you have the transport try out Bricketwood (St Albans AL2 3TF) which will give you options of punter paintball, walkon paintball and checking out tournament paintball:

Cheers Tom,
The thing is I have been to upminster several times and the marshals are really friendly and they seem to be willing to keep the rules quite flexible ...

I went to a delta force site last month as was told no other markers allowed. I mentioned this in the feedback and was told this:

I would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused if you were disappointed that you were unable to use your own marker on the day. Unfortunately, this rule is out of our control as our insurance policy has recently changed and does not allow players to use their own guns when playing with members of the public
You may be lucky but wouldnt count on it.

Ah ... doesn't sound hopeful, I will be going next week and I will ask then and inform you of their response.
