knee or shin pads?

So I'm looking at getting something for my knees because they got pretty chewed up last time I played At the moment I'm between the dye and empire one's but the ones that have the shin pads too. Anyone have any opinions on these or other pads that anyone recommends . Alsoifanyone knows anything about the size of then also helpful.Cheers

I've used these for many years - covers knee and shins. They are softball / baseball sliders made by trace.

A friend of mine got some empire knee and shin pads, they were really unconfortable to play.

I would say knee pads are better than shin pads, although I dont think theyre necessary
