Hey guys,
in a few months I will be visiting the UK to complete my master's degree.
I am thinking about taking my paintball gear with me to have some fun while I'm there.
I'll be visiting the Wolverhampton School of Art, so obviously I'll be living in Wolverhampton.

Do you guys know any fields in or around that city?
During my google search I found three sites: SAS Paintball, Warped Paintball and Skirmish Paintball, but I can't find any tournament fields (supair).
Also I can't seem to find the price for bringing in your own gear and paint to a field (in Germany this system is called BYO (as in: Bring Your Own); you pay a fee (usually about 35€) and are able to play as much as you want using your own equipment as well as paint).

Also, if you're living in or around Wolverhampton and wanna go play some Paintball together, I'd love to contact you as soon as I get there so I won't be all alone on the field.

Greetings from Germany

Hello! Welcome to the forums! (y) CPPS is not too far, there is a tournament series held there, training days a plenty, clinics etc and the venue is top class
Thank you for your answer :)
Is it a field open to the public as well?
I dont want to play any tournaments if that came out wrong. I just prefer speedball over woodsball and in Germany we call those fields supair.

Here we use 'walkon' as the term for a player with their own gear
You may or may not be able to bring your own paint (also byo here)
But at a proper walkon day you will be paying less for paint then normal punter players
Ideally you want a site that runs a monthly walkon so that you are playing with other walkons as opposed to some punter sites that allow walkon players amongst the rental players

Eg npf at bassets pole has a monthly walkon series - diamond wars. And in July a long weekend paintball festival. Among many things you will find supair there at paintfest but I don't think they have a normal supair field

Sup air is less often seen on sites in the UK, they would have a speedball (hyperball) style field but not usually inflatables
In the area I think cpps penkridge would be your main choice

hi xiron warped allow you to bring your own gear at anytime but are always site paint only, we have 4 or 5 scenario based walkons throughout the year based around our club and also have a 5man woodsball series and will be running a 10 man cup in September
check out www.warpedsports.com and look for the club section or check out the facebook group warped paintball club

Hi @Xiron - CPPS is open to the public at the weekends, and is by far the UK's best supair site. It's about 30 mins from Wolverhampton School Of Art. Have you thought about maybe setting up a Student Team?

If you want a woodsball day, Warped is a great place to go.

Yeah I think I'll definetly set up a Student Team as soon as I get there, if there's no existing team.
Why not? Whats wrong with you?

:)
Tournaments are too expensive for me, I guess :(
Also I dont think I'm good enough to participate in a tournament.
