How to new users manage find dead old threads?

What is the strange force that enables new users to locate the oldest, most random threads and then post on them, in order to gain classified access?

Are they Jedi?

Can they use this ability to do something useful, such as picking the winning lottery numbers?

Why do they bother wanting classifieds access on here, when it's far easier to flog your stuff on fb?

It's a mystery.

I think we should have mod powers just to mess with people and increase the number of posts they need for certain privileges or add specific 'new' rules for access to the classifieds such as they a quiz or challenge for new members
