Should I get a remote line?

I've just started playing and I was looking for ways to improve my tippmann A5 without spending a fortune. I was thinking about getting a pod pack and so need to decide whether to go for on which can fit a tank or not. I don't like stocks on markers as there is no need and i find it hard to aim because my mask gets in the way. So is it worth getting a remote line?

I think you answered your own question, pointless having a stock if you don't get on with it + it interfers with your mask.

Then a remote option would be the answer?

If you get one, get one with a slide check or pro disconnect otherwise you'll have to turn the air off at the bottle and vent the air out of the line every time you want to disconnect the remote line from the gun.

If you don't like stocks then a remote line will be no use for you
Having the cylinder mounted on the gun gives you the equivalent of a stock and allows you to steady it
With no stock and the cylinder on remote you will be holding an a5 in the air

would that be a problem while playing it feels pretty light to me without a tank?

it's a matter of balance, without a bottle or stock to put into your shoulder you'll find that the weight of a full hopper at the front end will be awkward. don't try using the top of the gun to aim with, look along the side of it instead, this way you'll find your mask doesn't get in the way. If you change to a gun with a central feedneck you'll end up doing it that way anyway.

Try running around with an A5 all day, get to something like NvS and you'll see how heavy it really is. Add a 14" barrel to the front and a full hopper, you;ll soon find it feeling very front heavy and less manageable when you want to stop and aim.
