A marker is a marker it doesnt matter if its compact or not they all go pew pew i would go Axe to be honest seen them as low as £150

the axe is one gun you could get on a low budget they are selling low second hand, plus a lad i play alongside has used all sorts of markers and was very impressed with how the axe preformed

I'm shooting an Axe at the mo... As a new player it's totally fine... Fires straight and fast and is pretty easy to maintain... Having said that we can always dream of something more exotic like a Lux or DM... Take your time and enjoy your game... Having a super duper marker at this point in your paintball career is not the be and all and end all...

I purchased a mini to start with and my friend had an axe out of the 2 the axe was a much better marker...but after a couple of.months we both ended up purchasing different markers I went with an eclipse ego 9 and I think its a much better marker I wouldnt change a thing about it and my friend went with an ethaand again hes never looked back the other markers are gathering dust now as spares...just make sure theyre cleaned and maintained after you have used them.and get to.know how they work.....as someone said earlier check.out you tube and ask the guys at your local.center if you could try some of theres to get a feel.of what you like
