Looking to buy a 1.1L fibre wrap bottle & reg but have been out of the sport for so long I have no idea what's good bang for your buck and most reliable these days...

Can anybody offer some advice please on which bottles these days are worth the investment? Are there any bottles in particular I should avoid?

Cost isn't too much of an issue, just wanting a decent bottle that will perform week in week out!

Thanks in advance for your help!

if you want super light then go with a fuel super light from bz they go around 200 new with a reg (not worth it i would look around for used)

another very popular bottle now and personally the most comfortable is a gi bottle they go around 164 with a reg

and best of both worlds is the safer bottle they go for 139 with out a reg

I was looking at those GI bottles, anybody had any experiences with them? I know the fuel bottles are very light but not sure the slight benefit out weighs the added costs!

Best value for money, and meeting the criteria of one that will work every week is a standard aluminium 3000psi
Not 1.1litre but about £30 for the air capacity that will meet most players shooting per game
Double the vfm when sites recognise an aluminium is vale for 10 years before requiring testing as opposed to 5 years for most

The value of ultralight is in the weight saving. If that's not needed then it's just extra money spent
If you're small and slight of build then the weight saving will compensate for weakness and everything being heavy, otherwise consider are you really that fast in raising the gun that the lightness will make a difference and speed you up

Benefits of a fibre over an aluminium are the base being round to roll in your shoulder and the wide range of choice in shapes and sizes
Ergonomics are key, pick some up and feel how they fit you along with your gun. Fail to choose on that basis and you're wasting over £100 in price difference just for a curved base and potential capacity

for what reasons did you think these 3 are the best ?
So my friends, who used it, have not any problems with it. For example STAKO tanks is the lightest, but on youtube video of tanks explosion with stako tanks, not GI or guerilla...So I think they are reliable.

Stako was the ultralight (probably was the only choice) and was not retestable
New ultralight designs are retestable (but check the time frame as I believe some designs have a maximum 10 year life)
Stako explosions that I am aware of were attributable to fast fills and oil contamination
Equal risks to other designs but the thin/ultralight Stako was perhaps more prone to less tolerance due to thinner skins etc

I was in thd market for a 1.1 with reg.

Went local place, had a look at various tanks (felt weight, into shoulder etc) and out of all of them went with Fuel with the latest reg.

This has shims inside to help regulate the pressure, and the ability to move the fill nipple/gauge around so it dosnt dig into your wrist.

Worth it?

It is for me.
