I have the chance to buy one of these and im just wondering is it worth it?

I could get a geo, lv1,lux1.0 or bob Long Vcom.

Is it worth getting the vcom if i can get it for about £150 less than the others (execption is maybe the lux1.0)

Also what do you guys think of the vcom. I have heard it is like an ego and a dm had a baby?

VComs are actually rather nice. When coupled with the must have SLP reg very little touches them in terms of perceived shot quality. @uberjuba has one for sale and far far far more experience with them than I do.

LV1's and Geos are, with the right amount of not screwing around with them, indestructible (even the geo is fairly insensitive to how much lube is on there), The Luxe 1.0 I've heard various things about, but having never owned one, I'll refer you to @gommie404 - Luxe tech extraordinaire.

Bob makes EXCELLENT markers. The only slight downside is that the tec support isn't as comprehensive as for Eclipse.
If you want a totally rliable marker with loads of tec support available, the Geo. If you want the best bang for your buck and like to be a bit different, the Vcom.
Personally, I wouldn't take the Luxe - although they shoot beautifully, they can be a little fussy about the maintainence and the efficiency is awful.

Gommie never comes on here :p we tie him up and lock him in a cage ;)

Treat the luxe well and it will never let you down, its like a racing car - needs tweaking everyday to get the best result.
BUT, one of if not the smoothest markers, efficiency we have gommies upgraded parts, bolt guide, can, piston.
With just the bolt guide i was getting 4/5 pods and a hopper from a 2.5k fill. (hot 3k)

hope this helps :D

A gommie'd luxe (which I had the luxury of shooting a pod through at CPPS) is very smooth and quiet. Luxe 3.0 "Gommie Special" coming out anytime soon?
