if I knew what a RF chip was I could say yes or no.
I've just got into the studio and it had no cracks or damage, the operative word being HAD, unfortunately I've dropped it trying to get it from my stack of boxes and when i tried to catch it I caught it by the lid and the bit that holds the pin of the lid has broken, I'll take some pics now to show you. but the long and short of it is I've just broken it. :-(

yeah all the pics are there, luckily I stopped it falling too quick by grabbing the lid, which broke it.
