GI pack VS washing machine...

Chucked it in the washing machine with a few other things after a muddy session and this happened....

This was practically new, now it's got a good bit of wear and tear!!

Ouch. That sucks. Put it in a pillow case or something next time. Always kept mine intact. (y)

I would velcro the belt reversed so the pockets are folded in and don't get battered by the drum
The right way I'm told is to put gear in a net bag or pillowcase

I'd also say have a look at the condition of your drum

I just spray mine with hosepipe when its hung on washing line.
Washing cordura stuff in washing machine always makes it floppy.

I fill the bath with hot water and chuck packs and pots in their if they need cleaning.

I never washed my packs, used a towel with warm water to scrub some of the nastier bits off and built up paint but never directly into the wash.
