Virtue oled won't shoot over 15ish bps?

I've got an virtue oled board and it won't shoot over 15bps. I've tried loads of different modes but won't go over 12-15bps (speed measured over chrono)? Is set at 25bps and full auto just to try and get it to go faster but still no joy. Any ideas?

What hopper are you using?
The gun will only shoot as fast as it's fed.

It's a dye rotor so shouldn't think it would be that.

I think you may find that's the reason you're only hitting the reported bps.

Are the dye rotors adjustable as I thought they were rated for 40+ bps?

Does it actually matter? Most events limit you to 10.5 bps anyway and 15 is the highest I've known allowed

Not really a problem as such just as it is rated to shoot much faster just wondered why it wouldn't. Never play with it above 12 bps. Just wondered if I was missing something easy which was stopping it firing at the high rates of fire.
