Not all eye prescriptions can be corrected fully to 20:20 by soft contacts. I'm very shortsighted and was told by optician I will need glasses + contacts for distance vision, which defeats the object of avoiding fogging issues

Also not everyone likes contact lenses or poking themselves in the eye

Glasses requirements vary between individuals
I should wear glasses for distance (and do for driving) but rarely when paintballing
I can see and it just means things at a distance are a little out of focus, bearing in mind that paintballs are not flying in a perfectly straight line, get affected by wind etc then I may need to lead in my paint, or may get a first time hit. I'm generally as accurate in paintball with or without glasses

Alternately - I could just be a rubbish shot

I've found wearing glasses under my E-flex quite uncomfortable, the steaming up was only an issue in direct sunlight, but the discomfort was constant. I've now gone back to contact lenses and find that much better. I find contacts easier for most sports (apart from swimming). Contacts are not for everyone, and they do take time to get used to. So if you think you might like to try them most opticians will do a free trial and free aftercare too, I can recommend ASDA opticians, they are one of the cheapest around for almost all lens types, you can order online and the aftercare is as good as big name opticians.

My glasses do not fit comfortably under vforce grillz so I use disposable contact lenses. Best way to find out is to try with your particular pair mate.

a tip from years ago, for swimming goggles was to wipe with Meth's and then polish clean, and it worked, but I assume the above recommends will be best, I am lucky, I am long sighted, so distances are fine, but I would need my glasses to reload my marker.. that could get entertaining on field.. lol..

the Meth's was used to remove any deposits and then polished off.. otherwise, as you say.. I'd rather chlorine burn than meths.. having considered this more, I think Meths might remove coatings that you want as well as those you don't.. so probably better to use a proper designed for product!

There are many anti fog methods, and not all are paintball appropriate bearing in mind the lens is physically protective. So paintball products should be used

On the paintball lens as soon as you use any product you degrade or remove the lenses existing antifog
So with the goggle lens itself do nothing but rinse with water or use a combination of damp and dry microfibres

For glasses wearers use an anti fog of your choice on your glasses as required. Noting that they are a different material

Only when the combination of glasses and goggles can't cope or the manufacturers anti fog can't cope should you then treat the goggle lens
