What would you buy first?

I am finding it hard to decide on what to buy first, any advice would be appreciated.

I currently have a second hand etek 3 and a 3.000psi air bottle, a dye i4 mask and dye rotor which has already hit me for £500. The issue is, I am going to north v south and I wonder whether i should shell out for either:
a) 4.500psi air bottle (due to length of time playing)
b) a second 3.000psi bottle
c) a decent set of playing gear (I was going to go in camo gear and save the cost of buying proper paintball gear until i get paid again)

North V south is a few weeks and I realise that I need to make my purchase soon to get it before the date. What would seasoned veterans (people who have been to north v south) advise.

Id prob say get yourself some gear. You can get plenty of decent 2nd hand gear on here.I bought a pair of Laysick pants a few weeks back and they where immaculate and didnt burn a hole in my pocket.

I'd save the money for actually playing mate. You've already got enough to be getting on with, so use the money to buy some paint and have some fun with. Other things, which are less important, can come in time as and when. Until then, go shoot some people. :)

Consider how much paint you can carry and be realistic about how long you plan on being in game at a time

Compare the paint you carry to a shot calculator
http://www.scubatoys.com/paintball/paintballshots.asp

You can get more shots by going to a fibre for 4500psi, but the etek won't be a gas hog

Unless you are going to be sat at the back longballing then you will be eliminated at some point, you can respawn via medics etc but at some point do need to get out of the game to reload, eat, drink, browse shops, socialise etc

On a vfm basis an additional aluminium/steel 3000psi will give you more air for your money. A fibre should be bought to fit you ergonomicaly

Keep your cash for now and look at the shiney things when on site at the shops

Where's a good place to get a carbon bottle?
Your nearest paintball shop, or trader at an event
Either of these would enable you to look at the bottle dates and either pick the newest, or optionally pick the oldest and ask for a few pounds off for the lost months
(Don't be too cheeky and ask for a big discount on a bottle made a month or two ago!)
