New friend starting.

a mate of mine is looking at starting. he is sorted for goggles but has a budget of £150 for the rest.
need some ideas. he is aware he will be stuck to a gravity hopper

Basic air - aluminium / steelie at around £30
Allow for a pod belt / vest & pods
Then what style is he interested in? Anything with a cyclone or ripclip sorts the hopper requirement, otherwise it is limiting the hopper funds

A gravity hopper will resolve for a while, one with a shelf will feed better but a halo or one of the other cheaper force feeds will do fine when he can go that far

Get him on here for a bit and then look into what's for sale second hand

he is adamant its gotta be new. he wanted a bt4 slice nipped that in the bud. i tried the second hand route and showed my "new" etek 3 but he isnt interested. looks like hes going for enmey and proto primo hopper and hes gonna borrow my old steelie tank.

I think i saw a enmey kit on fat bobs with hopper etc for around the 150 mark might be worth checking out

Enmy will be reasonable. The primo will cope better than a basic gravity
Second hand will make the money go further, but if he's happy with what he gets then that's what matters

i used to have an envy. but my budget was roughly double his though. i ended up with an eggy and steelie tank and vforce grills

I have got a couple of brand new tippmann 98s in the box if hes interested in one they retail for a bit more than an enmey but I could do him a deal, proof pics can be taken
