Both are pretty much the same gun mate, the Extcy just being a newer version of the Ion. GOG is the new face of Smart Parts after they went bust I believe. The Ions are all a bit clapped out now but the spares for them are fairly easy to come by. However if you go with the Extcy youre going to get a warranty and decent customer support. You might also want to consider a PE Etha, they go on here 2nd hand for £180 - £200 and theyre solid, solid guns. Far better than what you'll get out of either of the other two. Just a thought.

Ethas tend to come up fairly regularly but then they do go quite quickly too. I would avoid anything Proto or Dye for that matter. The Proto stuff is a pile of ****e and the Rail is notorious for failing. I had one that lasted all of 3 minutes and then died. Dye customer service is also shocking. Planet is the way forward, their gear is all very high quality and their customer service is second to none. Failing that the Empire Mini or Axes are also very good guns. Minis come up here all the time and usually go for around £120 - £150. The Axes are a little more pricey (£200 - £250) but I personally think they are the best gun for the money. They give you high end performance for a small price tag. They are brilliant. Kee action sports (The company that own Empire) also have brilliant customer service.
In regards to the paypal process. You can either send money including fees, which gives you insurance from Paypal. So should the seller rod you off then Paypal will reclaim the money for you. The fees are 5% I believe so often worth doing with the bigger purchases like guns or hoppers. if you trust the seller you can send the money as owed which means you dont pay the fees (therefore no insurance)

Angels are good markers, obviously, as they were the high end gear in their day. Yes you can get spares from NPF but only certain spares. Solenoids and rammers are a nightmare to get hold of and the people with technical knowledge of these guns are few and far between. Angels are also unreliable in the cold so ive been told. Id keep away from them mate. A shame really because they do seem like beautiful guns. Id go with planet mate, the egos are always a solid bet, the ego 7s go for under £200 I think.

Hey Daz, got a couple of bits you can have mate; got a pack - needs a wash but does the job, and a pair of Dye pants in red, size large. Too big for me, so no point on holding on to them. I'll be at the walk on, so can pick 'em up then. :)
