I have only just learnt what an avatar is, and now you go and throw in gravatar. My head cannot take it all in.
Can I just use smiley faces, that all I need to know. :-D

Generaly Recognised Avatar, it basically links your avatar to your email, so if you sign up on other sites with Gravatar, it will update your avatar on those new sites automatically
