I was stuck in a job I hated where I was treated like sh1t for much of the 5+ years I was there, I was completely demoralised and didn't see any way out. Due to the company being a stinking pile of miss-managed crap I got made redundant mid way through 2012. I pooped myself with worry but ended up scoring a new job within the 5 week notice period I had. I'm now on a 40% higher wage, I'm treated with respect, have much more responsibility and at a company that looks after it's people. There are jobs out there, there is absolutely no harm in looking, get your CV sharpened up to a fine point, stick it on all the sites and linkedin and see what happens.People telling me to "Just get a new one then." When I say I hate my job.
Sure! I'll just jump in my job cannon and fire myself into job land where jobs grow on jobbies. (Can't rememebr where I've quoted that from.)
My experience isn't the same as your's but it's similar. I seriously lack the motivation to come into work knowing that as soon as I get there, the majority of the time I feel miserable and feel desperate to apply else where.
Lend me your Job Cannon please? So much want for one of those right now.People telling me to "Just get a new one then." When I say I hate my job.

3 tills, one queue. I've sat there for ages before now with the self service till clearly free and no one using it...Does everyone queue up a distance away from the tills?
Or are you the person annoying everyone else jumping the queue just because those in front of you are too slow to see the free till?
