A typical entry level Mask, like proto will do, I have one, i just bought a thermal lens. Personally, i don't see much point in getting a fancy £60 mask they all have to conform to a set safety standard, you really pay extra for name, weight, style, lens (interchangeable).

I where glasses also and for my the Proto is fine

Every one keeps saying good things about the i4!

They are good goggles - but not for everyone
I still have my i3s, which were my second pair / first new pair (I have changed the lens a few times) but they are there as a spare. These have always done well and I tried on the i4 when they came out

The i4 give less cover as they are smaller, this has the added benefit of air flow, but for big heads like me, with a big chin (which is already scarred) and being a paint magnet - the i4 would not be the best set of goggles for my head

And for the e-vents:
I also have these (the older and not current model)
I can't comment against the e-vents - popular, good airflow, like 'premium' goggles they are made of flexible rubber (both for softer paintball impact potentially reducing breaks, and for comfort) they fit my head .....

To summarise what has already been said:

Try on goggles before buying
Spend wisely on goggles - don't buy on price to keep in a budget, but also don't spend more because they must be £s better. You need the right goggles for you at the right price
(Of course you could say buy the best / most expensive you can afford, and that's a good argument for goggles. You must be prepared to spend more on goggles. But don't get caught in the argument of buying the best first, paintballers will always buy the next shiney item)

If you buy second hand then make sure you have money put aside for new lenses, they may perfectly find but when they arrive and you try them they could be scratched or the anti fog may not be as good as it was new (particularly if they have been cleaned with anything other then water)

With more budget priced goggles when it's time to change the lens it may be cheaper, or not a lot different to buy new goggles

Coverage, visibility and comfort are key:
Does it cover your face & ears

Can you see (obviously fogging) but the shape of goggles can affect your peripheral vision
If use glasses and will wear them playing can you wear them under the goggles (and also consider more air flow for fogging)
Tip - consider getting paintball glasses (eg small with fine frames) and when you next try on glasses bring your goggles

Comfort - if they do not feel right for you then you want like to wear them all day
