this is probably going to sound like a silly question to most but I'd rather ask it than mess people around but how do people ship stuff when selling (where do you get boxes from etc. and do you post stuff through someone like royal mail or another postal courier service?)

Unless it's a gun or cylinder then any postal method
If it's a gun or cylinder then read the prohibited or restricted policies
Royal Mail is an option but these days couriers can be more competitive.
My 'most postage using' friend now prefers Hermes

I make my own boxes out of flat cardboard and i use collectplus to send items, i use collectplus for 2 reasons, 1stly the price is reasonable but mostly because the nearest drop off point is the corner shop which is 2 doors away from my house.
