All comments and feedback welcome in any shape or form, i know we all have different opinions and i appreciate them all

well if it's ready to go that's awesome then. i was just thinking that it isn't going to be anywhere as good as the newer models, i previously had a geo 2.1 and just wanted to try something in the mean time before i go for the geo 3.1 so have gone for a lovely cheap SL66 and assumed it would need some kind of TLC and upgrading. looks like it will be great then as stock although it does have a maniac board installed. would you not even advise a carbon barrel or newer bolt @alexd @Bolter?

I have a couple of them... when I got it 2006 tried a Ti Rammer, alternative and alternative boards (Tadao, Maniac) . tbh I reverted to stock

New bolt would depend on the wear.... save the pennies for the paintbill! ;)

as long as it airs up and chronos OK, then get on the field...

as long as the board complies with any tournie or site rules, then no, its not going to shoot 10bps any different to a GSL. But as alex says, the new guns are lighter, more efficient etc, but if you wanted that, you should buy that in the first instance:) no amount of carbon is going to make it a super modern machine, but if you have the money to burn, go ahead! Personally, id rather buy a couple of boxes more paint.

Cheers @Bolter, im sure the carbon would add a bit of accuracy and save on anno wear but it's not to important, i was more thinking about increased accuracy. the paint bill never on my mind because you cant put a price on a good days balling (well within reason haha). it already has maniac board so im sure it'll fire sweet. @alexd has already helped me on another post regarding a geo 3.1 which i have my eye on from the states, just trying to get through xmas first because i got 2 little girls looking forward to xmas presents but after they're sorted i will be speaking with lips and getting a 3.1 or GSL(if they're still there) from them, this SL66 is more for the collection but just want it to fire as nice as possible in the mean time lol

Thats cool, carbon fibre wont increase any accuracy. The biggest factor to effect accuracy is yourself (i.e practice), the second is decent paint (or at least decently stored paint ;) )

edit: affect or effect accuracy?
