Hey everybody,

So I was aiming to sell my Proto Rail this evening on the forum for around the £110 mark. It looks great with just a few small scratches. Comes with a lovely DM case and a tube of Dye gun lube. It was my back up marker, so has just been sitting in my kit bag all season, need a new loving home.

However, I went to air it up and put a few paintballs through it tonight and it wont fire. Change the battery, checked the O-rings, stripped and lube the bolt and still nothing! It is my feeling that the solenoid may have died.

I'm basically asking three questions here:

1) do you guys think anyone will be interest in this marker in its current condition? My worry is that the Rail makes an amazing first/starter marker so therefore I'm not sure my target market will be interested in this as a small project.

2) Is it worth my time to buy a new solenoid and replace it just for the sale? I cannot actually use this marker anymore due to sponsorship so keeping it in out of the picture.

3) Lastly here is a video of what the marker is doing, anyone with any ideas please let me know :) willing to try anything to get this bad boy shooting again. ---> Click Me <---

Thank you for reading boys and girls,
Tom.

Is the bolt not releasing air when it comes forward if not up the dwell slightly. See if it helps.

Reading the manual is also mentions that the solenoid might have issues:

SOLENOID WILL NOT ACTIVATE / TRIGGER

• Check that the solenoid and capacitor cables
are attached to the board and to the right
connectors (solenoid should be attached to
the connector that is colored blue).

hey guys, changed the dwell to the max (50) made absolutely no difference. Still making that quite popping sound when I tried to fire like in the video above. It is also randomly leaking out of the bolt depending on how high I set the pressure,

solenoid issues you guy reckon?
going to check the connections now,

EDIT: Connections look good and are plugged up correctly.
