personally attachments on the gryphon never get you anywhere just save the money and use it for more paint or invest it into new gear like a mask, hopper even a new marker

Yeah save your money I would not upgrade my first marker. just get out there and shoot some paint spend your money on that instead;)

HI and welcome to paintball, hope you have deep pockets or a good credit card :), I believe Barrells are good upto a point, but anything over 16" I believe and it will effect air efficiency. Remember Paintballs arent bullets, the longer the barrel the more time they have to bounce around and break. like others have said you dont need sights and scopes as paintballs dont fly straight, you can however see the stream as your shooting and adjust. as for a scope, im concidering getting one, not to help with my aim, but to help confirm where my target is, my biggest problem apart from being 18th stone and 6ft 2(large target) is sometimes seeing where the other guys are. :D

what is dose nothing to the gun perfomance?
Take off one barrel and add a longer or shorter one and the muzzle velocity will change
Adjust the velocity and it now takes more or less air to push out of the barrel for that same velocity

If the barrels are the same but different lengths then there is no practical difference other then air consumption for the velocity

Different barrels may result in different performance depending on how each matches the paintball with bore match
