ThanksTook a while to build up to it but I thought better to do it now while my reactions aren't too bad. It is an amazing machine and quite easy to ride given the massive amount of power it has.

I took my test just before they introduced the 2 part test which meant i could ditch the box.
and one of my current bikes that i built.
I`m from a time one just passed a test up to 250cc, then Away you go on anything you like for the rest of your life.
Bikes got Faster !! .. Then the Laws changed !!
My question is ?? going by " Ballantin " in a previous post , How many different types of licences are there ??
A - A1 - B - B1 ???
By the way Bod , is that up for sale ??

As of January 19th 2013 There will be 3 x types of licences and TEST categories under the new rules,
" A1 " for =125`s ... " A2 " for up to 47 bhp and " A " for unrestricted machines.
all this is also under review and could change again in 2018 because of those that wish to have what I call a FULL Licence which is now going to be called an " A " licence has to be taken on a bike that has AT LEAST 54 bhp, everything is on hold at the moment until 2018 when it goes up to 67 bhp.
Looks like you Can`t get a " A " Licence until your 24 now.
Even if you pass your test but Not yet 24 you can only ride a bike ... Qualified yes, and at 21 Yes, but de-restricted .
the whole set up is now a DOG`s DINNER.

I got thrown out about the mention of a "B" licence.

Very close, but you can get unrestricted A licence if you take a top up test from an A2 licence that you have held for 2 or more years.

A: Any bike, but the first 2 years limited to 42hp
B: Normal car license (we don't have auto or manual in Spain)
Now it is:
A1: Up to 125cc
A2: Up to 47Hp
A: After 2 years with the A2, you can get the tests for the A, any bike.
B: Still the same, any car.

125cc Only sadly.
A1 at 17 = 125cc Max
A2 at 19 = 47BHP and within a power to weight ratio
A at 21 (If held a A2 license for two years) = Anything/Unrestricted
A at 24 Direct Access = Anything/Unrestricted.
I'm sadly at the bottom of the chain but counting the days till I can get a big bike!
your not at the bottom mate ... 47bhp is by no means slow ?
I have a Mini Moto 12 bhp Blata Origami ( more like 14bhp ) that can do 80 mph,
what do you think that 47bhp can do ?? ... if worked on ??
with the one you have now , I could triple the acceleration very easily. or more top end ??
