Paintball Relevant Qualifications

So recently I have been having a discussion with my university Students Union regarding paintball relevant qualifications and how we could better prepare our committee members for the upcoming year ahead.

All i've been able to come up with so far is to attend a Marshaling course with the CPPS and things like manual handling courses. Does anyone have any bright ideas on this subject?

Basic first aid would be useful I'd guess, can't think of any specific paintball courses.

You could attend tech classes, I know Planet Eclipse offer them. That way you would have better knowledge of the workings of a marker and could hopefully offer some assistance if any of the team mates had gun problems!

And maybe one for the committee members of the society would be a safety course in HPA, could always come in handy I suppose.

The tech courses are a good idea especially as 80% of our markers are PE and the rest are Empire, I've worked a lot with HPA in the past but i'm sure we could all benefit from this. Does anyone know if the HPA courses can be held anywhere other than at events so we could get it done this year?

Manual handling, with specifics for the club. e.g. Heavy boxes of cylinders, bulky scuba cylinders (It all depends on what they will be handling)
Even better if they can get it as 'train the trainer' and pass on the knowledge to members.
(Generic MH training is fine, but its far better when applied as opposed to everyone ust saying 'bend your knees not your back' instead of looking at the load and understanding it)

Air handling - as a minimum use the UKPSF HPA 1, and the air safety training materials

General marker tech - in relation to club gear

@F3Z not that you really need to worry about gun problems when you're shooting planet guns, but it can hurt

As for HPA safety then I'm not sure, you could try and get in touch with HPAC and see if they run anything, or even if they'll come down to a training day and give everyone a bit of safety knowledge.

I would say basic sales & marketing is the main thing, after relevant safety courses. The difference between a paintball field and a paintball field that makes money is typically an aptitude for sales & marketing.
